Edge Clothing Tauranga Crossing Is NOW OPEN

Edge Clothing opened it’s doors to their first store in New Zealand at Tauranga Crossing on April 4th.

New Zealand retail had been on the retail for Edge Clothing for some time, and we are blown away with how the locals have received our unique offering in the market.

Edge Clothing & All About Eve is proud to support One Girl, a non-profit organisation that harnesses the power of education to drive change for girls in Sierra Leone and Uganda. Because education is the key to eliminating gender inequality, to reducing poverty, and to creating a sustainable planet.

Right now 130 million girls around the world aren’t in school – simply because they were born a girl. But we’re working to change that.
One Girl believes that EVERY girl has the right to an education, no matter where she’s born, how much her parents earn, what her culture says, or what religion she adheres to. Every girl has the right to grow, learn, and be the best she can be.

Together with One Girl, we’re changing the world, one girl at a time.

STAGE II TEAM WALK KOKODA 2018

A few members of our Stage II walked the Kokoda track in 2018 as a part of our commitment to The Geelong Kokoda Youth Program. We sat down with Camargue, Kylie & Tara after their amazing journey to hear about their experience.

“Thinking about walking the Kokoda Trail is a pretty amazing thought, but walking it as part of the Geelong Kokoda Youth Program is a once in a lifetime experience.

This once in a lifetime experience, and the fact that all of us strongly believe in the program is why we all chose to participate this year.

Getting to the end and seeing the arches rise above of you as you walk the last hill is an achievement in itself – we’ve made it! But the most rewarding part of the whole experience is seeing the difference it makes in the kids. Seeing the confidence in them, that wasn’t there 6 months ago at the beginning of training and the change in their mentality – if they can do Kokoda, they can do anything.

One of the highlights of this trip was the day we decided to put a chicken into one of the adults tents as a joke, with the help of some of the friendly porters! It was something that hadn’t been done before – but could definitely become a yearly tradition!

Our advice for anyone thinking about walking the trek is – do it! It is such an amazing experience to be a part of. Our other advice is to stay open mined and don’t sweat the small stuff – the toilet situation is not as bad as you think! And most importantly – you’re there for the kids. It is such a unique experience where you will build bonds and friendships with these kids like you never would have under any other situation.”
